This new version, the subject of our road test, is then entered into after submission of the list of next generation Focus at the Detroit Motor Show, held in January.
The popular hatchback, to deserve the label ECOnetic has undergone a series of small changes to the second floor. But, taken together, have helped the 1.6 TDCi 110 bhp to become a little ‘more sober than it was already. Nothing revolutionary, but especially in the city-thanks to new stop-start&consumption restraint made itself felt. Here are the details
The 1.6 TDCi 110 hp, has instead been concerned by the ECOnetic treatment for him were designed new primers and modified the intake system, while the exhaust has been fitted with a sensor for oxygen. Also, the operation of the engine, with particulate filter, has been recalibrated with a view to greater fuel economy.
In any case, at the end of the games that guarantees a 110 HP car-like ECOnetic has quite different priorities in relation to the performance-a more than adequate grit: greater driving flexibility and above all are absolutely ‘ TDCi height of departure, and thanks to the steering precise and well filled and the estate truly remarkable (even the tires with low coefficient of friction), also offer a driving behavior not at all drowsy.
